Jean Segur

March 27th, 1931 - July 30th, 2009

Jean Segur, 78 of Englewood died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Englewood Community. Born on March 27, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Margaret (Roberts) Senecal, she had been a resident of Charlotte County for nineteen years coming from Mooresville, Indiana. A loving mother and grandmother she loved paying bingo and going bowling with her friends. She was a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxilary in Indiana. She is pre-deceased by her parents and husband, Robert Segur. Survivors include her two loving sons: Robert W. (Marilyn) Segur and Rick E. Segur both of Englewood, FL; one grand daughter: Amanda J. Segur of Port Charlotte, FL and a nephew Robert L. Wasnich of Englewood, FL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11 AM at the Englewood Comunity Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3070 South McCall Road with Rev. Gale Williamson, officiating. Inturnment will be in Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Humane Society, 6781 San Casa Drive, Englewood.
