Mrs. Lizzie B. Beacom

Mrs. Lizzie B. Beacom, 58 36 Matthews street, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Knight of Otter lake at 6:15 a.m. Sunday. She had a heart attack.

Born in Imlay City, July 18, 1889, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hauck. She came to Pontiac 20 years ago from Marlette and was a member of the Daughters of Pontiac, Rebecca lodge No. 450.

Besides her husband, William Beacom, she is survived by two sons, Donald Beacom of Auburn Heights, Howard Beacom of Pontiac; five daughters, Mrs. Earl Knight, of Otter lake, Mrs. Thomas Mapley, Mrs. Archie Bell, Mrs. Kenneth Barnes of Pontiac and Mrs. John Silcox of Keego Harbor; 18 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sheck of Pontiac, Mrs. Orrin Philpot of Decker, and a brother, LeRoy Hauck of Rochester.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Donelson-Johns Funeral Home. Dr. William H. Marbach will officiate and burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery. The Rebecca lodge will also conduct a service.
