Family lore is Richard might have had brothers named Thomas and Daniel. There is a good possibility to this as family members have those names. Information found on a Thomas and family was found on a stone in Trinity Church Cem in Galt Ontario. This is the Church that Richard and Ann were married. The stone had Thomas A. 1821-1855, wife Jane Hanley 1823-1904 and their sons Robert and James. It is not known for certain that William and Mary came to Canada. The name William Chapman was on a contract that Richard had for land in Canada 1864. Was
this Richard's father? No evidence regarding Mary.
