ENGLEWOOD, FLA. - Donald E. Pernia, 66 of Englewood, formerly of LaSalle, died at 1:20 this morning in his home.

Services are pending in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Born May 13, 1917, in LaSalle, he was the son of William and Cora (Leonard) Pernia.

An Army veteran of World War II he had moved to Florida in 1979 after retiring.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Sammon: three sons, Greg and Ronald both of Miamisburg, and Phillip of California and six grand children.
