WILSON G. TIMMONS
Wilson G. Timmons, 74 of 1263 Maple Blvd. died at 9:16 a.m. Monday in Toledo Hospital, Toledo. He had been in poor health since October.
Friends may call after 7 tonight in the Allore-Sprow Funeral Home where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Robert Watt of First United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born Feb. 9, 1911, in Shelby, KY, he was the son of George J. Timmons and Mary L. (Craig) Timmons. He married Thalia Pernia June 13, 1936. She died Sept. 18, 1975.
He had been employed for 47 years by the A & P Tea Co,, Detroit, retiring in 1974.
Surviving are a son, Raymond of Beaverton; two brothers, Perry of Gainsville, Ga., and Wesley of Bremen, Ky.; four sisters, Mrs. Virginia MacDougal of Danielsville, Mrs. Wilma Finwick of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Mary Bruce of Bremen and Mrs. Anna L. Frothingham of Athens, Ga.,; five grandchilden, and two great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a brother Roy.
