Robert Chapman (1941)

Capac, April 12- Funeral services for Robert Chapman, 78, who died Friday night in his home here after a long illness, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Walters funeral home.

Rev. John Schurman, pastor of the Evangelical church, will officiate. Burial will be in Capac cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pricilla Chapman; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Rheaume, Detroit; Mrs. Leon Rooney, Dryden; Mrs. Francis White, and Mrs. Thomas Kilbourne, both of Yale; a brother James Chapman, Memphis; 24 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Chapman was born in Grey, Ont., July 14, 1863, and came with his parents to St. Clair county more than 60 years ago. He married Miss Pricilla Burger, Brown City, 55 years ago.
